Fruit Tree Planting

Great turnout from the community for planting fruit trees near Vale entrance. Special thanks to our new young Woodland Rangers for all their effort and enthusiasm.
Four Apple, two Plum, two Pears, two Cherries and one Mulberry -the idea is to have a "Forest Garden" rather than an orchard.Ā We are now seeking additional plants of gooseberries, blueberries, currants or raspberries.Ā If anyone has any spare, pop them in the good soil near the young fruit trees on the raised ground.
We have temporarily labelled the trees but we want to build on this more by adding further explanation of what they are and what to look for.
We have now added a Mulberry Tree. For us to go round in the near future.
